Training

Lessons & training programmes

Hunt seat, dressage and jumping for riders of every age and level — from a first walk-trot lesson to the A circuit.

Programmes

Choose how you want to ride

Most riders start with a private lesson so we can see where you are, then settle into whatever suits — weekly groups, a training programme, or a full show season.

Prices are a guide. Ask about packages, sibling rates and semester billing.

The weekly rhythm

A normal week at the barn

This is the shape of a typical week. Exact lesson times, clinics and show dates are on the calendar, which we keep up to date in Google Calendar.

What to expect

Your first lesson

Come in long trousers and boots with a small heel — we have helmets to lend. Arrive fifteen minutes early and you will help groom and tack up, because that is where the learning starts.

  • Helmets are required for every rider, every ride
  • Beginners ride quiet, experienced schoolmasters
  • Parents and friends are welcome to watch from the rail
  • We will tell you honestly what a sensible next step looks like
